TAP – Tuition Assistance Program

Support the student Tuition Assistance Program (TAP). With your contributions, this valuable program can continue to help students who would otherwise not be able to attend KSDA School. Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 to assist students with tuition expenses. Help us reach this goal and be a part of bringing Adventist Christian education to a student’s life.

The Annual Fund for KSDA School helps to support the school’s operating budget and increases our ability for student enrichment, investment in the school’s growth and facilities improvement.

Why does KSDA School need an Annual Fund?

Although our tuition covers our yearly operating budget, KSDA School continues to strive toward growth and improvement. The Annual Fund helps with planned and unplanned facilities improvements, provides additional financial support for student enrichment programs, and helps provide teachers and classrooms with academic resources, such as technology improvements.

Who Supports the Annual Fund?

Current and past parents, families, and friends generously support the annual fund. We feel very blessed to belong to a giving community who believes in and supports our school.

What is this year’s goal?

Our goal this year is to raise $50,000.

What are some of this year’s needs on campus?

• New Carpet for Building A
• Additional Lighting in the Gym
• New Ceiling for the Gym - $10,000
• Classroom Books for the Student AR Program
• Classroom Technology Improvements – iPads, Computers, Nook, etc. - $20,000
• New School Fence - $15,000

How can I give towards this fund?

There is no minimum level of giving. Gifts of any size are appreciated. Please make a gift by cash or checks, payable to KSDA School.

Is my gift tax deductible?

Yes, contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law.

What happened to the Magnify Endowment Fund?

The Magnify Endowment Fund is a restricted endowment created in 2008 for the purpose of building new facilities and/or facility remodeling on campus. Magnify funds are currently growing in an interest bearing account. When the fund reaches 1 million dollars, the interest will be released to be used toward operating costs.

What are some examples of items purchased with annual funds raised in past years?

This additional fund that is donated each year to the Annual Fund has been instrumental for improvements on campus and in classrooms. Thank you in advance for your contribution and continued support of our school.

Matching Gifts

Many corporations will match the contributions made by their employees. This is a way to increase the impact of your contribution so more students can benefit. Your employer’s human resources department is usually the best way to find out if this program is available.

Gifts In-Kind

Parents occasionally find themselves in the position of donating a variety of items to the school over the course of a year. Books, videos and DVDs, current versions of software and classroom supplies are just a few of the items that have been donated to the school. If you would like an official acknowledgement of your gift for tax purposes, please coordinate your donation with your classroom teacher, who will be happy to provide you with the appropriate paperwork.
