Welcome to the Kirkland Seventh-day Adventist School

We are here to honor Christ, to become like Him, to serve Him.

Since 1945, our goal at the Kirkland Seventh-day Adventist School has been to provide our students an environment where they will be encouraged to make Christ the center of their lives so that their characters will reflect His excellence in every way.
We encourage each child to make choices based on principles formed from a personal relationship with Christ. We help guide these choices with opportunities for mental achievement, physical excellence and social maturation, as well as spiritual growth and expression grounded in Christian values as taught by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Our aim is to develop self-disciplined, self-motivated students whose love of learning and love for Jesus continue into adulthood.
At Kirkland Seventh-day Adventist School we recognize that each student is special.  Each person’s opinions, backgrounds and unique qualities must be respected.  We challenge students to discover and reach their own potential academically, socially, physically and spiritually.
To reach these goals, we carefully plan our curriculum and select our textbooks, and we choose our teachers based on their academic training and experience as well as for their ability to impart knowledge, culture and spiritual values to their students. All of our teachers are required to be certified by the state of Washington and the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Read about the impact of Adventist Education).
